Dr. Kyle Smart graduated with honors from Archbishop O’leary High School where he played on the senior basketball team. He also played Jr A hockey in Manitoba, as well as for MacEwan University Mens hockey team.
Dr. Kyle graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Kinesiolgy degree, majoring in Sports Performance. He then travelled to Portland, Oregon where he attended the University of Western States (UWS), the same university where both Dr. Jones and Dr. Breckenridge were trained. It was there that he completed his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and his Doctorate of Chiropractic.
While attending UWS, Dr. Kyle was the President of the Motion Palpation Club whose mission statement is to develop the best chiropractic adjustors on the planet. He graduated from UWS with the highest level of academic distinction, Summa Cum Laude.
Dr. Kyle stays active by golfing, weightlifting, hiking, running, and riding his bike around Sherwood Park. He is also a huge book worm, lover of dad jokes (ask him for his joke of the week), and is a massive Oilers fan.
His treatment style is a mix of chiropractic adjusting (manual or Activator), soft tissue therapy, and rehabilitative exercise. Not wanting to just treat symptoms, his goal is always to identify and address the root cause of the problem. Whether your goals are to set new “Personal Bests” in the gym, or to be able to pick up your grandkids without pain, he’ll create an individualized treatment plan to help you achieve it!
