Dr. Kelsey Hardy is excited to return to central Alberta to help patients achieve their health and wellness goals. Originally from Stony Plain, Alberta she graduated from Memorial Composite High School.
After high school, she obtained her Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from the University of Alberta. While completing her studies she worked as a personal trainer, group fitness trainer and worked closely with the University wrestling team and health care staff as a student athletic therapist. Working with athletes and individuals of all ages and backgrounds sparked her interest into further pursuing patient care.
Dr. Kelsey then decided to move across the world to study chiropractic at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. Here she joined the student group World Congress of Chiropractic Students (WCCS) where she traveled to Johannesburg, South Africa and Brisbane, Australia for each Annual General Meeting. In her final year she was elected President of her university chapter.
Dr. Kelsey enjoys keeping active through sports such as soccer and exploring Alberta with her pup Brodie. She also enjoys a good cup of coffee and wine, recognizing there is a balance to life.
Using a multifaceted approach, Dr. Kelsey uses chiropractic techniques such as Diversified, Drop Piece and Activator. She is trained in SMART Tools (similar to Graston), Rock Tape, Active Release Technique (ART), exercise rehabilitation, soft tissue work and may incorporate these into her patients’ treatment.
